With more than 25 years' experience in classical ballet &
dance education, our curriculum ranges from our pre-school children's
beginner ballet programme ( kids age 4 to 6+) through to RAD
Vocational ballet syllabus, pre-professional and teaching-practice
levels. |

Beginner Ballet is our unique in-house programme
for children age 4 & above, devised by Ms.
Tan (Principal) to meet the needs and interests
of younger children taking their first steps in
ballet & dance classes. The semi-structured
lessons incorporate awareness of good posture,
development of gross & fine motor skills,
response to music, building of self-confidence,
basic ballet steps, creative expression &
mime, in an enjoyable setting.
Beginner Ballet Year
1 ( 2010 ) is our entry-level ballet class.
Our children's beginner ballet classes are offered
on once-a-week basis, with lessons of 45 minutes
duration.
Our weekend class is conducted
on Saturday. Class schedule is Saturday at
12 noon to 12.45 p.m.
Our weekday class is conducted
on Wednesday. Class schedule is Wednesday
at 3.30 to 4.15 p.m.
We welcome children age
4 to 6+ to attend our Beginner Ballet
Year 1 classes.
The Wednesday class is now
wait-listed. Very limited vacancies are available
for the Saturday class. Please call to enquire.
We offer a weekday
RAD Pre-Primary Ballet class. The class schedule
is Wednesday at 4.15 to 5.00 p.m. Some
vacancies are available for children age 6+
to 8, with prior experience. Please call or

The Royal Academy of
Dance (RAD) is an international teacher education
and awarding body for Classical Ballet. It was
established in 1920 with the aim of developing
and maintaining the highest possible standard
of teaching ( courtesy of Royal Academy of Dance
).
We offer the RAD Grades
and Higher Grades Ballet syllabus classes &
examination training. Pupils may work towards
the annual external RAD Class Awards, Examinations
and Presentation Classes. Our top pupils
have achieved perfect scores of 100% in their
ballet exams. We also consistently achieve 100%
Passes every year.
Our curriculum includes the
new RAD Pre-Primary in Dance and Primary in
Dance syllabus classes. This syllabus captures
the imagination of the growing child, builds on
the strong foundation achieved through our Beginner
Ballet programme, and has been very well received
by our students & their families.
The RAD Grade 1 to Grade
8 syllabus includes Classical Ballet, Free Movement
and Character Dance. Pupils learn to appreciate
the nuances of other dance genres, and this enriches
their dance & movement experience.

Attended by pupils who have undergone substantial
training, the RAD ( Royal Academy of Dance ) Vocational
Grades examination syllabus offer a greater challenge
for pre-professionals, and pave the way for a
possible career in dance and related fields.
Pointe work is a prominent
feature of the girls' syllabus, while male pupils
build on their virtuosity especially in pirouettes
( turns ) and allegro ( jumps.)

Vocational Grades ballet classes :
RAD Intermediate Foundation:
Monday 4.30 to 6.30 p.m. & Thursday 7.00 to
8.30 p.m
RAD Intermediate:
Wednesday 6.30 to 8.00 p.m. & Sunday 1.00
to 3.00 p.m.
RAD Advanced Foundation:
Monday 8.00 to 9.30 p.m.
